What an amazing hidden gem!!! I am almost scared to post this review in case it gets so fully booked that we cannot find a place in future. We had an amazing time – so quiet, close to Pta / Jhb, lots of place for the kids to play. We will definitely be back.

What a beautiful place in stunning, peaceful surroundings! I highly recommend Bushveld Magic. A lovely spacious and modern home with all the amenities. Including very fast WiFi and Air Conditioning. We where visited by zebra, warthog and jackal. Renate was extremely helpful in arranging a gamedrive where we saw 4 of the big five and much more. Will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful, brand new house. We spent 4 days here, fully catered for by the owner, and had a terrific time. Renate took excellent care of us, even accommodating my vegan diet in her meal planning, She arranged game drives in the northern part of Dinokeng, where we saw 4 of the Big Five, and took us around the maze-like southern part of the park herself. As a FGASA-qualified field guide she was really knowledgeable about animals, birds, plants, etc. and happy to answer all our questions. Highly recommended

What a fabulous breakaway from the city. Hard to believe that the big 5 roam free in less than an hour’s drive from Pretoria! Bushveld Magic was spectacular with plenty to do when not enjoying the animal life and bushveld wonders. The accommodation was luxurious, and the lovely sunny patio a welcome spot to enjoy the chilly morning hours and late afternoon sunsets. Renate was a great hostess and arranged an unforgettable game drive. I highly recommend Bushveld Magic, and it will see us again, and again!
